At its heart is The Ivey House, built in 1915 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Tucker/Ivey House. Once set within an 11-acre citrus estate, it became home to the Ivey family, founders of Osceola Fruit Distributors and Ivey Groves. The house is being restored as the centerpiece of the new community, and it's also home to the Vita Property Management office at 2450 Old Dixie Hwy.
